I DREW THIS COMIC MAINLY TO DISPLAY the beautiful view. It's hard to show a landscape in smaller panels, so I think it's nice to sometimes have less panels and more view of the area.

Carrotfoot Campout!

BEING IN SCOUTS MYSELF, I always knew I would draw this comic. I am positive that scouting will become a reocurring theme in Carrotfoot. This is only the second scout-related story , the first of course being Carrotfoot going to scout camp, and there will likely be many more after this one.

I liked drawing this comic because of the outdoorsy scene. Drawing Carrotfoot relaxing in a hammock in his backyard is a lot more fun to draw than any indoor scene. I feel that, visually, this is the best comic I've drawn so far.This second comic is an overexaggeration of one of my own scouting experiences: My two friends and I slept in a two-man tent. I remember one of my leaders popping his head in the tent and laughing at us.
