One thing I forgot to mention...

If you check out the archive and see the old post "Random Carrotfoot Sketches" this picture will be on there. One interesting thing about this picture is that it was the first one I drew with Carrotfoot's diamond-shaped ears. It's true, I used to draw his ears curvy like any normal cartoonist would. But after I drew this picture, I thought it looked good. So I kept it, and his ears haven't changed since.

But that doesn't mean they'll always be drawn that way.

The Phone

This is exactly how it is at my house. It's interesting, I find so many ideas from ordinary, everyday experiences.

A couple of interesting things:
#1: Note the magazine Carrotfoot is reading.
#2: A new signature! Not that different than the old one, but still different.

Official Carrotfoot Logos

These are the official Carrotfoot logos. Look for the "CF" with Carrots and the name "Carrotfoot" with the carrots in the two O's. This is possibly the cover for my first Carrotfoot book collection, which I hope to make before Christmas.
IMPORTANT DATE: October the fourth is the Carrotfoot's first anniversary! Mark your calendars!

Leslie and the Genie Part 3: The Second Wish

I had to get a picture off the Internet to draw the car in the second and third panel. It was extra work, but it was worth the realistic picture.

Leslie and the Genie Part 4: The Final Wish

Thus ends the tail of Leslie and the Genie.

Leslie and the Genie Part 2: The First Wish

The third panel was really hard to draw, because in it I had to make the contents in the fridge dark, yet obious that it was ice cream.

Leslie and the Genie: Part 1

Leslie finds a genie's lamp! This story is sort of an experiment. I want to see if crazy, unrealistic stories will fit the comic well.

Lockers

I draw Walter in a new way now. He was constantly accused by certain people of not looking like a panda, and now, looking back, I realized they were right. So now he is drawn differently, and I'm satisfied with the change.

This Sunday comic was one I really enjoyed drawing. It was a challenge because with a locker in front of Carrotfoot, it was hard to show his face and also show his locker at the same time. I had to either draw him in profile or at full back. Whenever Carrotfoot gets really mad, he pulls as hard as he can on his ears. This is really the first comic-and definitely not the last- where we see Carrotfoot's angry side. The title panel is based off of a doodle I drew at school, and my favorite panel is the sixth. I also think it's funny that Carrotfoot is shouting at his locker.

This experience, of course, happened to me, too.

AND-let us not forget all the people who died on this day, eight years ago.

God Bless America.
